How to comment

This page explains how the global consultation works: how to leave feedback, what we publish, and how the drafts are licensed.

How to give input

  1. Open any circular (start from Find the right circular or the section list).
  2. Select a passage of text, or use the numbered marker beside a paragraph, table, figure, or heading.
  3. A short form opens with the circular, heading, and quoted selection already filled in.
  4. Choose a comment type (correction, omission, clarification, objection, support, or question). Optionally add severity, suggested replacement text, and a supporting reference.
  5. Submit named (name and email; organisation optional) or anonymously.

You do not need a GitHub account. Paragraph-level comments on a specific method are more useful than general remarks on a whole circular.

Most circulars are Draft — written for reading and still under review. Planned circulars have defined scope but little or no body yet.

Name, email, and organisation are used only to reply to you and to recognise repeat submitters in editorial triage. They are never published with your comment.

By using the site you also acknowledge that circulars here are global consultation drafts, not final GOAP standards, and should not be cited as adopted guidance.
